Domestic electrical work, from extra sockets to a whole-house rewire
Established since 2013, ARM Electrix carries out domestic electrical installations, full and partial rewires, kitchen and family-room extensions and improvements to existing homes. We work with homeowners and builders to plan the electrical work around the property and the building programme.
Full and partial rewires
Tell us whether the work affects the whole property or selected rooms, and whether the home will remain occupied. Available drawings, previous reports and the proposed room layouts help define what needs to change.
A partial rewire should be assessed in the context of the retained installation. The extent of work, access requirements and any necessary testing need to be agreed before the programme and quotation are finalised.

Kitchen and family-room extensions
Share the kitchen layout, appliance information and intended use of the new space. Lighting, switching, sockets and equipment supplies need to be considered before finishes and furniture restrict access.
For a family room or media wall, discuss the positions of screens, shelving and furniture alongside power and lighting. Feature and bookshelf lighting should be planned as part of the room, with controls and access for future maintenance considered.
Garages and changes to existing supplies
Explain how the garage or additional space will be used and what equipment it will contain. An existing supply cannot be assumed suitable without assessment. Agree the scope of any new wiring, lighting or board work for the actual installation.
